Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the government offices and roads in the state would be constructed with new technology. Inaugurating the newly constructed roads and buildings department head office here on Friday, he termed the roads and government offices are symbols of civilisation and culture of society.

Now, the government buildings are being constructed with competitive spirit on par with private offices, he said. The Chief Minister said Amaravati capital would be constructed as one of the top five capitals in the world. All the offices of the departments and ministers would be accommodated in the same tower, he said. “All the offices would have gyms and other facilities. The employees need physical fitness.

The government would extend all facilities to employees. The employees would be given priority without any bias and political interference. The employees should work hard with sincerity,” he suggested.

He congratulated the officials of roads and buildings department for completing the five-floor office building at a cost of Rs 101 crore in one year. Minister Ch Ayyannapatrudu, Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, Kollu Ravindra, several MLAs and officials were also present.
