Babu appointed Chief Engineer

Anantapur: State government has issued a notification appointing the current Superintendent Engineer of HNSS Project B Sudhakar Babu as the Chief Engineer of Irrigation projects in the district. His elevation was affected after the Supreme Court gave verdict that facilitated pending promotions to certain officials including that of Sudhakar Babu.

The Apex Court has directed the State government to give promotions to officers who are due for one. Sudhakar Babu has been in-charge Chief Engineer due to Jalandhar being on leave for quite some time. Jalandhar also has been promoted as the Chief Engineer and posted in Rayalaseema Region’s Quality Control office based at Kadapa.
