NCC Day celebrations held in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: NCC Day celebrations were held at Siddartha Mahila Kalasala here on Monday. Speaking on this occasion, NCC Unit administrative officer Ganga Malathy stressed on the need to include NCC cadets in the service activities along with the education. She said that it was the responsibility of the NCC cadets to do service.

Siddartha Mahila College NCC officer PV Durgavathi said that NCC cadets had an opportunity to do service to society and added that they might join in the army to do service to the country. Siddartha Mahila College principal Dr T Vijaya Lakshmi conducted competitions in flag area, drill test, national integration awareness programmes for the NCC Cadets and distributed prizes to the winners.
