The Sarva Siksha Abhiyan Contract and Outsourcing Employees Federation (JAC) of Andhra Pradesh staged a protest in front of the Collectorate with the contract and outsourcing employees of the SSA in the Prakasam district on Monday.
B Kantha Rao, state general secretary of the federation demanded that the government withdraw the idea of offering the contract jobs on outsourcing but convert the jobs in outsourcing to the contract basis.
He said that the outsourcing agencies were not remitting the ESI and EPF collected regularly from the employees to the concerned accounts and wanted the government to initiate action against such agencies.
A number of outsourcing employees in SSA of various roles as cluster resource persons, MIS coordinators, IERTs, DLMTs, computer operators, messengers, SSA site engineers, art work, health and physical education part time instructors, KGVB special officers, teachers and non teaching staff etc participated in the protest.
