Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said his government  warned the corporate colleges over mounting pressure on the students who are taking extreme steps unable to cope with the mental agony in their studies. 

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said his government warned the corporate colleges over mounting pressure on the students who are taking extreme steps unable to cope with the mental agony in their studies.

He said in the assembly parents are forcing their children to pursue studies to get ranks in EAMCET in the state. The Corporate colleges are also exploiting the situation and make them like robos in the residential colleges. Students were detained in the campuses and put pressure on them without any recreation . As a result , the students are committing suicides.

HRD minister Ganta Srinivas said government already imposed Rs 50 lakh fine each on Narayana and Chaitanya corporate educational institutions for the spate of student suicides recently. Government already constituted two committees to study the social menace and take action in accordance with the recommendations.
