Speaking at an awareness programme for women conducted by the police at the BIT Institute of Technology (BITIT) here on Tuesday, he listed out the measures initiated by the department to check ragging and eve-teasing.

He asked the students to dial 100 in case of any problem. A complaint will be registered within 10 minutes. He gave the students Anantapur SP’s WhatsApp No 9989819191. He advised the students to put on helmets while driving two-wheelers.

Principal Dr T Ramesh presided over the programme. He advised students to conduct themselves properly in society. CI Kalavati and constable Lavanya also took part in the programme.
