Collector showcases cricketing skills
District Collector PS Pradyumna played cricket for some time for fun with the Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) students on Wednesday, on the varsity engineering college grounds. As part of his duty, the Collector has been visiting the University for selection of new hockey team and for a squatting ground.
Tirupati: District Collector PS Pradyumna played cricket for some time for fun with the Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) students on Wednesday, on the varsity engineering college grounds. As part of his duty, the Collector has been visiting the University for selection of new hockey team and for a squatting ground.
At that time, the District Collector has seen the students, who are playing cricket at the engineering college grounds, and told them that he wants to play cricket with them. The Collector has hit the few balls with cricket bat. The students were excited to play with cricket with the Collector.
Later, Pradyumna has discussed with the SVU Registrar and Sports Director on the selection of new hockey team and a squatting ground for the convenience of regular players.
