Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Vikalangula Co-operative Corporation chairman G Koteswara Rao has said that the government is committed for the welfare of differently-abled and implementing various welfare schemes for them.

He addressed a meeting held on ANU premises near here on the eve of International Day for Physically Challenged on Thursday. He urged them to avail the facilities provided by the government for self-employment.

ANU Vice-Chancellor Prof A Rajendra Prasad said that the university would fill backlog posts for the differently abled.

ANU registrar John Paul, Prof K Koteswara Rao, Prof M Venkata Rao and others were present.
