IG distributes bags, books to students
Rayalaseema Range Inspector General of Police Shaik Mohammed Iqbal called upon everyone to render their helping hand to poor students studying in government schools.
Jammalamadugu (Kadapa): Rayalaseema Range Inspector General of Police Shaik Mohammed Iqbal called upon everyone to render their helping hand to poor students studying in government schools.
The IG visited a few government schools under the limits of Jammalamadugu on Thursday and distributed books and school bags to students. The schools he visited include Vaddirala Government School in Mylavaram, Government School in Thanda Colony in Lingapuram village and Urdu School in Jammalamadugu.
Speaking in a meeting organised at Urdu School, the IG said he belongs to the region. A few issues of the school have been brought to the notice of the IG. He said he would take steps to solve the issues.
Additional Superintendent of Police Srinivasula Reddy, Deputy Superintendent of Police K Krishnan, Circle Inspector Praveen Kumar, Maheshwar Reddy, Sub Inspector Hanumanthu, Municipal Councilor Suryanarayana Reddy, school staff and students took part in the meeting.
