Vijayawada: Amaravati Balotsav will be conducted here from December 6 to 9 to bring out hidden talent in students and to encourage the meritorious students. Addressing a press meet held in the MBVK Bhavan here on Friday, honorary president of the programme, Chaluvadi Mallikarjuna Rao said that they would hold the programme at Sri Krishnaveni Talent School in Vijayawada.
He said that Assembly Deputy Speaker Mandali Buddha Prasad would inaugurate the programme. They would conduct competitions in drawing, painting, memory contest, group songs, folk dance and other categories. Prizes would be given to those who exhibit talent in the competitions.
Replying to question, he said that so far 4,500 students enrolled their names to participate in the competitions.
