Dachepalli is an important revenue village in the Palnadu region and a large number of people from surrounding places and hamlets visits this panchayat for their daily needs.

Most of the commuters prefer the RTC-run buses but the bus station here is crying for attention of the concerned officers. A philanthropist donated land to construct the bus station. For a few months, the bus station was well maintained. Later, buses from the Guntur-Hyderabad route ceased to enter into bus station and gradually the place became deserted.

The donors of the land of bus station demanded that the RTC return their property if the land was not maintained properly. After that reminder, the APSRTC officials again asked their drivers to enter into the bus station. But neglected for a long time, the surrounding areas and the roads became unusable. The roads are full of potholes. Women, children, old people and patients requested the authorities to repair the roads. Even the bus drivers complained about the damages to the buses. Even after months, officers concerned failed to act fast. The plight of the commuters increased and general public have been pleading to maintain roads.
