Rural Superintendent of Police Ch Venkata Appala Naidu, informed that the officials received a total 1,672 calls relating to various offences during November as part of ‘Dial your SP’ (1027) programme.
Guntur: Rural Superintendent of Police Ch Venkata Appala Naidu, informed that the officials received a total 1,672 calls relating to various offences during November as part of ‘Dial your SP’ (1027) programme. He said that out of the total, they received 65 calls relating to offences against women. Calls relating to bodily offences 65, calls relating to accidents 982, calls relating to property offences 28, calls received on acts disputing public peace one, calls received on suicides attempt 40 and calls received on other category 302. He said that based on the dial your SP programme, they have booked cases relating to 66 phone calls.
The Rural SP warned of stern action against those who furnish wrong information to the Dial your SP programme. He urged people to avail their services to solve their problems and grievances. He sought cooperation of the people for the success of the programme.
