Kurnool: The Two town police arrested one Repalle Paramesh on the charges of house breaking and robbing the houses. Producing the accused before media here on Saturday, Kurnool town Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Khader Basha said Repalle Paremesh, a resident of Pulikal village of Aieza mandal in Jogulamba district of Telangana state, is a habituated offender since his childhood. Paramesh fled from his hometown to Kurnool after his parents expired and brothers neglecting his welfare.

After reaching Kurnool, he used to work at hotels and feed his belly, he said. Not satisfied with hotel earnings he thought of lavish life and planned to rob locked and deserted houses during night times. He involved in several crimes since 2016. He sneaked into several locked houses and decamped with gold and cash. He also stole one Yamaha vehicle and planned to flee Gadwal to sell stolen articles, added the DSP.

Having received several complaints about the thefts from residents, the Two town Circle Inspector Degala Prabhakar registered cases and took up investigation. On learning about the whereabouts of the accused, he and his team comprising Sub Inspector Mohan Kishore, Chandra Sekhar Reddy and other police personnel Chenchanna, Sunkanna, Vara Kumar and Pullaiah apprehended Paramesh near Railway Bridge on the way to Sunkesula road, stated Kader Basha. The police recovered around 104 grams of gold articles along with stolen vehicle from his possession.
