Kapus take out rally to express gratitude to CM

Pithapuram: Kapu leaders and activists of the TDP on Saturday took out a massive rally from the market centre here to Uppada raising slogans in favour of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for extending five per cent quota for Kapus, Telagas, Balijas and those belonging to Ontari community. They paid rich tributes to NTR, founder of the TDP, at Bangaramma Ravi Chettu Centre.
Yeleru Distributory Committee In-Charge Reddem Bhaskar Rao recalled that Chandrababu Naidu while passing through the town during his padayatra announced quota for Kapus. He also recalled how Chandrababu Naidu had assured the Kapus of an exclusive corporation for them and deputy chief minister post for the community. The Kapus are indebted to the Chief Minister for keeping up his promise. He said that Kapus would not forget the local MLA who worked in this regard.
Local leaders Bavirisetty Rambabu, Sukumalla Gangadhar, Yelubandi Raja Rao, Gundra Subba Rao, Gundra Jagga Rao, Somu Satyanarayana, Kondepudi Surya Prakash, Chodisetty Seshagiri, Jyotula Bheemudu, Jyotula Satish, Allumilli Srikrishna Rao, Allumilli Prabhakara Rao, Malireddy Veerabhadra Rao, Kola Chinna, Katari Babji, Kolaraju, Kasturi Appa Rao and others took part in the rally.
