Kakinada: MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao, on Sunday, made it clear that he would try hard to sanction Pucca house to every poor family in the city.
He conducted a press conference along with the Mayor Sunkara Pavani at the district Telugu Desam Party office here. Speaking on this occasion, the MLA said that he would try to replace huts with Pucca houses to the urban poor in the near future with the support of their government.
Speaking about the Cabinet decision on sanctioning five percent reservations to Kapu community, the MLA described that this was a historic and welcoming step by the government.
MLA Vanamadi further said that there would be no harm for the backward classes by this 5 percent reservation quota to Kapus.
