Rs 25 cr for welfare of Boyas, Valmikis: Fed Chairman BT Naidu
Chairman of Valmiki, Boya Federation B T Naidu said that they would shortly start Sabari, Bhakta Kannappa and Valmiki Bandhu programmes for the benefit of Valmiki and Boya communities.
Nellore: Chairman of Valmiki, Boya Federation B T Naidu said that they would shortly start Sabari, Bhakta Kannappa and Valmiki Bandhu programmes for the benefit of Valmiki and Boya communities. He addressed at an awareness session at Kasturba Kalakshetram here on Sunday and said this is a historic event for the community population as the state government proposed 5 pc reservation to them.
He said they got real independence only on December 1, 2017 since they got the reservation facility. He said the corporation is currently having Rs. 25 cr and the people can apply for loans for various schemes. MLC B Ravichandra advised community people to utilise various schemes meant for them. Federation Managing Director Nagabhushanam also spoke on the occasion.
