The Prakasam region of APSRTC introduced entertainment and fun filled journey in the rural bus service Telugu Velugu by adding TV service as a pilot project.
Ongole: The Prakasam region of APSRTC introduced entertainment and fun filled journey in the rural bus service Telugu Velugu by adding TV service as a pilot project.
The APSRTC is fitted with LCD TVs in the express and above categories of bus services. But as a pilot project, the RTC introduced the same service to the Telugu Velugu buses in the Kothapatnam and Ongole route from Sunday.
The Ongole region manager, Adam Saheb inaugurated the TV service in the night halt service bus at Vajjireddypalem and explained the importance of the travel in RTC buses and asked the public not to risk their lives in the private transport services like auto rickshaws. The Ongole depot manager, Srinivasarao, corgo depot manager Srimannarayana Rao, assistant manager Chinnayasuri, NMU Ongole depot chairman Bobba Sivaji, EU depot secretary N Srinivas, TNTU secretary Ramarao, supervisors and other staff also participated in the programme.
