Now senior YSRCP leader Subramaniam Reddy from Kuppam constituency in Chittoor district has decided to join the Congress party. During a press conference organised in the town, Subramaniam broke down before the reporters saying that the party leadership had insulted him on several occasions.

He further rued that the party leadership continued to ignore him and the good works he had been doing in the district. He faxed his resignation letter to party chief YS Jagan.

Recalling his connection and friendship with YS Rajasekhara Reddy and his family members, Subramaniam Reddy said that the YSRCP has lost its sheen at the current juncture. He further said that he had joined the YSRCP because of the respect he had on late chief Minister YSR.
