Multi-disciplinary approach to understand Indian culture stressed
Founder of Indian History Awareness and Research Group Dr Raj Vedam said that there is a need of multi-disciplinary approach to understand Indian culture and historical significance.
Visakhapatnam: Founder of Indian History Awareness and Research Group Dr Raj Vedam said that there is a need of multi-disciplinary approach to understand Indian culture and historical significance.
He delivered a lecture on ‘Multidisciplinary approach to the study of Indian pre-history’ as a part of value-based lectures organised by GITAM School of Gandhian Studies here on Tuesday.
He introduced a new perspective to look at the Indian history with the help of science and technology. The Aryanisation theory and proved with evidence from genetics, astronomy, archaeology and linguistics that Aryan invasion was not there during the Pre-Vedic or Post-Vedic era, he said.
Later, he interacted with the students and scholars. Director In-Charge of GITAM School of Gandhian Studies Dr Rositta Joseph felicitated the guest. Students and faculty from GITAM Institute of Technology and GITAM School of Gandhian Studies were present.
