Four persons were killed in a road mishap in East Godavari district in the early hours of Friday.
The incident took place when a four-wheeler fell into a gorge at Tiger Camp near Maredumilli.
14 others sustained severe injuries and were admitted to the Chittoor government hospital for medical treatment.
The group was returning to Kakinada after attending a prayer meeting. Locals state that the driver reportedly fell asleep at the wheel.
Home Minister Chinna Rajappa has initiated an inquiry into the accident.
