Srikakulam: CPM state secretary P Madhu has alleged that the State government has utterly failed to achieve projects which were assured under State Bifurcation Act, 2014.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, he expressed doubt over completion of Polavaram project due to lack of coordination between State and the Centre.

Only one project was assured to AP under State Bifurcation Act and that too has not been progressing at expected levels. Both central and State governments are behaving irresponsibly, he remarked.

He found fault  with the government and officials for forcible displacement of people in three mandals in the district for VamsadharaProject.
CPM leadersChTejeswara Rao and BKrishnamurthy have said that officials are behaving inhumanly with regard to displaced people who sacrificed their farm fields, houses and other properties.

Officials are dismantling houses while farmers are busy in cutting and harvesting crops and particularly before Sankranthi festival, they flayed. Ruling TDP government will face the consequences for its harsh approach towards  the evacuees of Vasmadhara project, the CPM leaders warned.
