Srikakulam: Prof Koona Ramji took charge as Vice-Chancellor of BR Ambedkar University (BRAU), Srikakulam, on Saturday. Registrar Prof G Tulasi Rao, principal P Chiranjivi, hostels warden B Addayya received the Vice-Chancellor upon his arrival on the campus.
Vice-Chancellor Ramji thanked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Minister for Human Resource Development Ganta Srinivasa Rao for his appointment. He said that he would accord top priority to provide quality and practical education.
Faculty, non-teaching staff, correspondents and principals from various engineering and degree colleges congratulated the Vice-Chancellor. The Vice-Chancellor sought the cooperation of all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the university for its development.
