Chandrababu reviews Polavaram project works

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday inspected the Polavaram project works.
Speaking in this regard, Chandrababu explained in detail regarding the various works of the project which were in different stages of progression.

He informed that more than half of the other works appeared to be completed with the exception of the spillway works.

The Chief Minister called Polavaram project a prestigious one for the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and when completed, it would change the fate of the farmers of Andhra Pradesh.
The Centre had taken up the construction works of the national project but it came to a halt last month.
However, the state government has vowed to complete the project works by May next year.
