Sai Rajeswari Institute of Technology conducts zonal-level sports & games
As many as 532 girl students from 30 institutions participated in the Proddatur zonal-level sports and games conducted on Tuesday by Sai Rajeswari Institute of Technology (SRIT) and sponsored by Bitcoin India, Chennai, said Principal Dr R Veera Sudarshan Reddy.
Proddatur: As many as 532 girl students from 30 institutions participated in the Proddatur zonal-level sports and games conducted on Tuesday by Sai Rajeswari Institute of Technology (SRIT) and sponsored by Bitcoin India, Chennai, said Principal Dr R Veera Sudarshan Reddy.
There was a stiff competition among the participants in kabaddi, throwball, volleyball, tennikoit, ball badminton, handball, said District Athletic Association secretary Lakshmi Devi. Bitcoin Manager C Rami Reddy and institute correspondent Basireddy Veerakalyan Reddy gave away medals and shields to the winners.
Later Lakshmi Devi, SGF secretary Prasada Reddy, Proddatur SRM High School PET A B Ramayya, District Archery Association secretary Srinivasula Reddy, Sudarshan Reddy, PD Ahmed Basha were felicitated with mementoes and shawls. Students of the institute presented cultural items. Among those present were PE teachers and SRIT faculty.
