Kurnool: Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank (APGB) Chairman A Venkata Reddy said that the APGB with its dedicated staff was working excellently than other rural banks in the country. Earlier, he inaugurated Bank’s 541st branch at RS Rangapuram of Bethamcherla in Dhone mandal on Wednesday.

Addressing the gathering, Venkat Reddy said that he was happy for opening the 80th branch at RS Rangapuram of Nandyal region. He said the Bethamcherla was flourishing with polishing industries and to extend better services to the people of this area, a branch was set up, he added.

The APGB with its robust business portfolio and vast banking network was the only bank with the highest CRAR of 22.2 per cent than any other bank, he stated. Regional Manager G Shiva Shankar Reddy explained about the various loans and deposit products offered by the bank.

Furthermore, he said that the bank was offering the highest interest rate of 7.1 per cent on deposits than any other bank. He also assured the gathering that an ATM would be set up at RS Rangapuram besides extending quality services to the account holders. Senior Manager Ravi Mohan, Manager KV Narendra Kumar, RS Rangapuram Manager G Tharun Kumar, cashier Adam and others were present.
