Mylan donates 15 bikes to city cops
Commissioner of Police T Yoganand said that corporate companies should increase their service activities. Mylan Pharmaceutical Company donates 15 motor vehicles to the Visakhapatnam police worth Rs 16.5 lakh.
Visakhapatnam: Commissioner of Police T Yoganand said that corporate companies should increase their service activities. Mylan Pharmaceutical Company is doing best service under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in Visakhapatnam. Mylan Pharmaceutical Company donates 15 motor vehicles to the Visakhapatnam police worth Rs 16.5 lakh.
The sponsors handed over the bikes to the Commissioner of Police in Police Commissioner’s office here on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the Mylan Company and announced that the bikes are useful to police personnel expedite investigation into the cases.
The Commissioner called upon the other companies to come forward to fulfil the necessities of the poor and needy in the slum areas. Many people in the agency areas are deprived of drinking water, he pointed out.
Mylan Vice-President and Senior HR N Mallikarjuna Rao said company is conducting several service activities to increase literacy and distribution of medicines for the poor and needy in the slum areas.
The company also distributing note books and study material to the government school students, he added. Assistant Commissioner of Police Ravi Kumar, MRK Raju, Mylan Company HR persons Sunil Roy, Ramaraju and others were present.
