TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal on Wednesday performed pujas at the Parakamani Bhavan, a new wing located in the TTD Administration buildings, earmarked for counting the coins and gold donated by the devotees in the Srivai Hundi. 

Tirupati: TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal on Wednesday performed pujas at the Parakamani Bhavan, a new wing located in the TTD Administration buildings, earmarked for counting the coins and gold donated by the devotees in the Srivai Hundi.

While all the currency notes are counted at the Parakamani located inside the Srivari Temple at Tirumala, the counting of all coins will hereafter be done at the TTD Administration buildings in Tirupati. The 3-storey Parakamani Bhavan built at a cost of Rs 4 crore comprised of Parakamani hall, scanning and filtering of Indian coins in the ground floor.

In the first floor, all foreign coins were accounted for and in the second floor torn, coloured and spoiled notes would be counted. Infrastructure in the third floor was created for counting of the gold, silver and other metal contributions etc. TTD CVSO Ake Ravi Krishna SE-1 Ramesh Reddy, Parakamani Deputy EO Rajendrudu and other officials were present.
