Sand sculpture made to commemorate WTC
Noted sand artist from the district, Devina Srinivas made a sand sculpture depicting the noted Telugu literary personalities on sculpture here on Thursday.
Kakinada: Noted sand artist from the district, Devina Srinivas made a sand sculpture depicting the noted Telugu literary personalities on sculpture here on Thursday.
Srinivas said that he made the sculpture in the wake of World Telugu Conference (WTC), which was going to be held in Telangana State.
He also said that he accommodated noted literary figures in Telugu literature Gidugu Rama Murthy, Dasaradhi Rangacharya, Kandukuri Veeresalingam Pantulu, CP Brown, and Sri Krishna Devarayulu on his sand sculpture.
He hoped that all children in the state would learn Telugu and recognise its importance.
The sculpture is said to have taken 16 hours to complete with help from the artist’s friend. The visitors were delighted to catch a glimpse of the sculpture at the Kakinada beach.
