Pithapuram: Two youth snatched two gold rings of an elderly man, who is going on his bicycle, promising to return them after looking, during a conversation near Uppada bus stand on Friday. The victim has been identified as Busi Rambabu.
The youth took the rings and asked Rambabu whether they were made of pearl (Muthyam) and red coral stone (Pagadam). Later they escaped on the two-wheeler. Rambabu lodged a complaint with local police. Probationary SI Naga Raju investigating the case.
