GITAM's GEM Fest kicks off
Offering a combination of entertainment and hands-on experience, GITAM Excellence Meet (GEM - 2K17), a national-level management festival, was kick-started at GITAM University campus here on Friday.
Visakhapatnam: Offering a combination of entertainment and hands-on experience, GITAM Excellence Meet (GEM - 2K17), a national-level management festival, was kick-started at GITAM University campus here on Friday.
As an attempt of putting theory into practice, the two–day fest is being organised by students where they get to manage everything from the beginning to the end. Prof MS Prasada Rao, Vice-Chancellor of GITAM (Deemed University), Guest of honour KVT Ramesh, District Director, BNI India and Sri Lanka, and Principal of GITAM Institute Of Management Prof P Sheela were present.
All those who registered online as well as on the spot came in huge numbers to compete and prove their talent in various events. The morning session ended with a lot of learning where everyone could appreciate each other’s effort. Tollywood actors Sree Vishnu and Nivetha Pethuraj of ‘Mental Madhilo’ fame, along with singer Sri Krishna, enthralled the crowd.
