The Model Career Centre (MCC) at Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) had initiated short term employability skills training for school and college dropouts as a part of Bosch’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). It is conducting the short-term job oriented training programme through their training partners.
Tirupati: The Model Career Centre (MCC) at Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) had initiated short term employability skills training for school and college dropouts as a part of Bosch’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). It is conducting the short-term job oriented training programme through their training partners.
The training programme called Bosch’s Response to India’s Development and Growth through Employability Enhancement (BRIDGE) was conducted at MCC in RSVP from November 10. At present, the first batch is being trained under this programme. Bosch provides free learning kits to students, who have enrolled for training.
RSVP Vice-Chancellor Prof V Muralidhara Sharma has distributed training kits to the candidates during a ceremony held on Friday and interacted with the trainees and expressed satisfaction with the training programme being conducted for the benefit of school and college drop-outs on a nominal fee and kits were distributed free of cost. Registrar and nodal officer Prof Ch P Satyanarayana and MCC Coordinator Dr V Ramesh Babu were also present on the occasion.
The training was aimed at enhancing the skill of those who are not in education, employment or training. Such candidates are trained over a period of two months in skills, which aims to enhance their employability in the service sector. After completion of training, they are placed into relevant sectors as per their ability. Candidates between the age of 18 and 25 were eligible to attend the training.
The skills which were imparted as a part of this training include spoken English, computer skills, life skills, customer service and interview skills. After completion of the training, placement assistance is provided to all candidates for entry level jobs in the private sector. The admissions for second batch of training are under process.
