Visakhapatnam: India’s representative to UNESCO Executive Board and Rajya Sabha member Dr Karan Singh said that experts in advanced studies will attend Tech-2017, an international conference, to be started here on Saturday.

Karan Singh, who is also member of UNESCOs International Commission on Education, said that as many as 800 delegates from 75 nations are attending the Tech-2017 to explore the opportunities and challenges in the education sector and other related fields.

Addressing the media, along with HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, here on Friday, Karan Singh said that the Vice-Chancellors from various reputed universities, prominent educationists, researchers, manufacturers of various tools in education and technological experts are participating in a three-day event.

The participants will participate in the brainstorming plenary sessions, breakouts sessions, debates and discussions to prepare a vision document for the future generations, he added. The UNESCO would take the responsibility to implement the outcome of the conference across the global, Karan Singh said.
