Expo on light matters opened
National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL) Director Dr AK Patra has inaugurated a mobile exhibition on ‘light matters’ at Regional Science Centre (RSC) here on Saturday. The expo was opened to create awareness among students about ‘light matters’. Speaking on the occasion, Patra said several applications used in the daily life were developed with light matters.
Tirupati: National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL) Director Dr AK Patra has inaugurated a mobile exhibition on ‘light matters’ at Regional Science Centre (RSC) here on Saturday. The expo was opened to create awareness among students about ‘light matters’. Speaking on the occasion, Patra said several applications used in the daily life were developed with light matters.
“A combination of interactive exhibits, videos and graphical presentations in the exhibition covers light in nature, light in mood, light and vision and chronology of light,” he added.
Later, RSC Coordinator Manigandan called up on the students and teachers to utilise the chance to know about light matters through the exhibition which will be opened till the end of January 2018. NCC Tirupati Group Commander Col KV Vithal, Prof TS Natarajan from IIT Tirupati and students from various schools were present.
