Old students’ help in placements sought
Vice-Chancellor of JNTU-Anantapur campus Prof S Srinivas Kumar has described alumni as the strength of the college and many universities and colleges ranked number one in world because of the support from old students.
Anantapur: Vice-Chancellor of JNTU-Anantapur campus Prof S Srinivas Kumar has described alumni as the strength of the college and many universities and colleges ranked number one in world because of the support from old students.
Addressing students of 1988-92 and 1992-96 batches at the Alumni Association meeting held here on Saturday, he called upon the well-placed students to lend support to the college in terms of placements for the graduates and improving their skills.
Registrar Prof S Krishnaiah said that meetings like this would make people forget their age. Past teachers were felicitated on the occasion.
JNTU-Hyderabad former Vice-Chancellor Prof Venkatarami Reddy, Prof V Sankar, Prof G Prasanti, Prof SV Satyanarayana, Prof Govindarajulu, Prof Ananda Rao, Principal Prof K Prahlada Rao, Vice-principal Prof Devakumar and 250 other teachers participated.
