MyCure Hospitals gets ISO certificate

Kurnool: MyCure Hospitals is dedicated to provide the safest and most effective healthcare services to the patients, said Sreekanth, the Administrator of MyCure Hospital, during a press conference held at the hospital premises here on Sunday.

He said that the Hospital was awarded with Indian Standard Organsation (ISO) Certificate 9001-2015 by the HYM International Certification Pvt Ltd, accredited by United Kingdom (UK).

Sreekanth said this couldn’t have had possible without the support of the eminent doctors and other hospital staff. He profusely thanked the doctors as well as the hospital staff for making the dream come reality.

Adding Srikanth said that ISO 9001 is ideally suited to the complex, people-intensive challenges of running a hospital. This certification also will help us to get NABH certification.

Everyone at MyCure Hospital has worked hard to achieve this certification and it has been done with the unwavering commitment from all the staff, said a director, Naga Suresh.

The ultimate impact of ISO within hospitals is the reduction or elimination of variation so that critical work processes are done consistently and the best ideas aren’t held by one person or one department but they are ingrained in the organisation itself.

Externally, it tells the public, as well as insurers and regulatory agencies, that the hospital is not only talking about quality but is pursuing it with discipline and transparency, added Naga Suresh.

The director of HYM International Certification Pvt Ltd, Alapati Sivaiah said that the ISO 9001-2015 was awarded after going through the procedures by the hospital. There are several norms the hospitals have to follow to get the certification.

He said the hospital is well equipped with all facilities and eminent doctors. This is one of the best hospital among other hospitals in the city, he added.
