Rs 1.21 crore worth ganja seized from truck, 3 arrested
Directorate of Revenue Intelligence seized 804 kgs of ganja from a truck near Atchutapuram in Visakhapatnam district on Monday. The officials believed that the seized stock is worth Rs 1.21 crore. Three people have been arrested so far.Â

The police are also questioning them to get more details as to from where the ganja was procured and which place was it actually being transported.
Visakapatnam and several towns in Northern Andhra Pradesh have become hubs of ganja smuggling. The AP police have been frequently seizing ganja from vehicles time to time. In most of the cases, people who were caught in smuggling ganja are repeat offenders. Even though, the police are busting such cases more often, the offenders involved in the trade are devising various ways to make quick money from it.
