Heli Tourism gets tremendous response from tourists, Vizagites
With a view to attracting tourists in a big way, the Andhra Pradesh government has introduced \'Heli Tourism\' in the port city of Vizag. In the first two days of its joy ride, the Heli Tourism received tremendous response from city residents and tourists alike. One can catch the glimpse of scenic beauty of the city, picturesque hills and beaches from the top view.

In the first two days of its joy ride, the Heli Tourism received tremendous response from city residents and tourists alike. One can catch the glimpse of scenic beauty of the city, picturesque hills and beaches from the top view.
On Saturday and Sunday, as many as 180 people have taken the joy ride in helicopter. Keeping safety of people in view, the government has arranged twin-engine helicopter for joy rides. At present, the helicopter has a temporary helipad at VUDA park. The government is mulling to construct an exclusive helipad at Rishikonda to promote tourism as the location is the major tourist hub in the city.
The helicopter services will be fully operational from December 23. It is learnt that the officials are planning to make tickets online for services.
