Patriotism flies high in valedictory meet
Patriotism flew high during the valedictory ceremony of National Trekking Expedition organised by NCC Group, Tirupati on Monday. After week long treks around the city, the cadets engaged fun and frolic at the NCC headquarters.
Tirupati: Patriotism flew high during the valedictory ceremony of National Trekking Expedition organised by NCC Group, Tirupati on Monday. After week long treks around the city, the cadets engaged fun and frolic at the NCC headquarters.
In all 485 cadets and 15 NCC officers from six states − Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Goa and Andhra Pradesh − took part. During the day, they presented cultural programmes with patriotic themes that include Garba and other dances, skits along with yoga bringing curtains down of the annual event.
Prizes have been awarded to outstanding performers. All the NCC cadets successfully completed the trekking expedition and each one has been issued with a participation certificate on this occasion. Group Commander Col KV Vithal and other officers spoke on the occasion.
