Pregnant woman loses life due to doctor's negligence in Eluru

A pregnant woman lost her life in West Godavari district on Monday due to the negligence of the doctor.

The incident took place in Eluru.

According to the reports, the victim, Prasanna Lakshmi died due to the delay in the doctor attending the patient.

The patient suffered severe blood loss and was asked to shift to another hospital. The family members rushed her to Andhra hospital where she was declared dead.

The family members are protesting outside the hospital alleging that the woman lost her life due to the negligence of the Gynaecologist Nirmala Devi following which the Medical faculty at the hospital are inquiring about the issue.
