President Kovind Guntur Tour Schedule
President Ram Nath Kovind will be touring Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh on December 27. He will be the chief guest for 100th meeting of Indian Economics Association (IEA) which is going to be held on Bible Mission campus in Acharya Nagarjuna University.
Guntur: President Ram Nath Kovind will be touring Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh on December 27. He will be the chief guest for 100th meeting of Indian Economics Association (IEA) which is going to be held on Bible Mission campus in Acharya Nagarjuna University.
Initially, the meeting was earlier planned to organise at A Convention Centre in Vijayawada. However, the venue was shifted to Bible Mission in Nagarjuna University for obvious reasons. According to the organisers, it will be difficult to ferry back the guests back to Guntur if the meeting was organised in Vijayawada.
As part of the President Kovind's visit, District Collector Kona Sasidhar along with Guntur Urban District SP Vijay Rao reviewed the arrangements and stage near the campus. The President will arrive at the venue at 10 am on December 27. He will take part in the meeting till 12 pm. Later, he will be hosted lunch at AP Assembly building in Velagapudi. Later, he will inaugurate fibre grid scheme in Vijayawada.
