A tense like situation prevailed at Omini Hospital on Tuesday. However, the Fourth Town police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.

According to information, K Ramanjaneyulu and Kullayamma of Itikalapalle village in Anantapur district have admitted their 8-year-old daughter, Pavithra, for heart related problem on 4th of this month.

After giving her treatment, the doctors have suggested that the patient needs heart surgery or else, she has to face lot of health problems. On the advice of the doctors, the parents agreed for the surgery. After conducting medical examinations, a surgery was performed on 17th of this month. While undergoing surgery, the patient had breathed her last (on17th). But the doctors kept her death as secret.

Later in the morning on Tuesday, the doctors have said that the girl was unable to cope with the medication and died. The shocked parents immediately pounced on the doctors and damaged the hospital furniture.

The parents blamed the doctors for the death of their daughter. They demanded stringent action on the negligent doctors and sought justice for the death of their daughter.

The Circle Inspector, G Subramanayam assured of doing justice after probing the case. He said a case has been formed and took up investigation.
