Srikakulam: The losses which the APSRTC has been facing has been reduced APSRTC revenue loss has to to a considerable extent, said its executive director (ED) A Ramakrishna. Inaugurating a clinic for the APSRTC staff, renovated at a cost of Rs 8.50 lakh in the town on Tuesday, here on Tuesday, the ED said that the RTC revenues have been in reducing trend for the last several months.
By end of November, the revenue losses came down to Rs 43 crore from Rs 114 crore and occupancy rate also improved to six percent recently, the ED added. He said that two driving test training centres would be setup at Vizianagaram and Tekkali with an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore.
