Vijayawada: Minister for Agriculture Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy said the Cold Chain Corporation would be established to provide remunerative price for farmers. Speaking to media persons at Secretariat here on Tuesday, he said the corporation would construct cold storages across the State.
The farmers could store their produce till they get remunerative price. The cold storages would be constructed with the support of the Centre. Private partnership also would also be involved with 49 per cent share.
The government would issue special government order towards corporation establishment, he said and added the departments like Marketing, Finance and Animal Husbandry would also be involved in the corporation.
