YSRCP suffers setback in Krishna

The principal opposition party YSR Congress party has suffered yet another setback as its loyal party leader from Gudivada municipality in Krishna district — Ravinkanth joined the ruling TDP on Wednesday. Ravikanth was also the YSRCP floor leader in Gudivada Municipality.
Vijayawada: The principal opposition party YSR Congress party has suffered yet another setback as its loyal party leader from Gudivada municipality in Krishna district — Ravinkanth joined the ruling TDP on Wednesday. Ravikanth was also the YSRCP floor leader in Gudivada Municipality.
So far, as many as 22 MLAs from the YSRCP have shifted their loyalties to the Telugu Desam. Several YSRCP leaders and party supporters in the districts too have joined the TDP.
As speculation is rife that two more MLAs of the opposition party are showing interest to join the TDP, the ruling party and its leaders are making all out efforts to pull low-rung leaders to its side.
