Amara Raja celebrates 32nd Foundation Day
Amara Raja Industries celebrated its 32nd Foundation Day with full fervour and zeal at its Head Office here on Wednesday. Founder Chairman of the Industries Dr Ramachandra N Galla and Vice Chairman Jayadev Galla, have welcomed the chief guest and Chairman & CEO of Johnson Controls George R Oliver. Various events were organised on the occasion.
Tirupati: Amara Raja Industries celebrated its 32nd Foundation Day with full fervour and zeal at its Head Office here on Wednesday. Founder Chairman of the Industries Dr Ramachandra N Galla and Vice Chairman Jayadev Galla, have welcomed the chief guest and Chairman & CEO of Johnson Controls George R Oliver. Various events were organised on the occasion.
The event witnessed “Powering Partnership” themed celebrations to mark the 20 years of partnership of Amara Raja Batteries Limited (ARBL) and Johnson Controls. To mark the occasion, ARBL launched a special Coffee Table Book capturing memories of its two-decade long journey with Johnson Controls. Also, a special partnership edition battery Amaron Hilife Novo was released during the event. Awards were presented to employees in recognition of excellence in performance in various categories.
The Johnson Controls team participating in the celebrations was led by George R Oliver along with nine members of Global and Asia Pacific(APAC) leadership teams. George R Oliver has thanked all those who contributed to the success of Amara Raja Batteries and Johnson Controls partnership.
Recalling the successful journey Dr Ramachandra N. Galla assured to continue their pursuit for excellence and strive for transformation and betterment of society. Jayadev Galla said, in the last 32 years, the firm has grown from grassroot level to a world class and a state-of-the-art company.
