Kadapa: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director General (DG) R P Tagore said that as many as 40 cases have been registered this year throughout the state. Not a single case was registered in Kadapa district, the DG stated.

The ACB DG came to Kadapa for verifying the records in the ACB office and inspected the ongoing construction of administration building. Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Tagore said that the ACB is committed to root out corruption by detaining corrupted officials as huge amounts and properties in massive scale were recovered from several higher officials working with the state government.

He urged the people to come forward in providing the information whenever they were demanded bribe by the government officials. On this occasion, he verified the records and expressed satisfaction.
