VUDA launches regularisation drive
The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) is making massive exercises to clear all the pending applications of layout regularisation. Vice-Chairman of VUDA Basanth Kumar launched the drive to clear the pending applications by December 31.

In all, 150 applications are pending with the VUDA for the past several years. The officials informed the applicants to submit require documents to clear the pending applications. All the officials of the urban planning of VUDA have been spending full time and cleared 114 applications last night.
The rest of the pending applications would be cleared, if the applicants provide the documentation as per the VUDA requirements. If the applicants fail to submit the documents, the applications would be rejected and 90 per cent of the amount paid by them would be returned, VUDA Chief Urban Planner informed.
