Vizag Bay Marathon launched
Collector Pravin Kumar launched Vizag Bay Marathon-2017 on Wednesday. The city is hosting second edition of Night Marathon ‘Vizag Bay Marathon-2017’ on December 23, evening at the RK beach. The marathon will be held in 21.1-km, 10 km and 5 km.

The run is being oranised by Prime Life Sports Association and DEEP (Disease Eradication through Education and Prevention) TRUST, a foundation, aims to bridge the gaps in the inadequate institutional healthcare facilities in healthcare.
Race Director Dr Murali Nannapaneni said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu launched the website http:// vizagbaymarathon.com recently. The Vizag Bay Marathon is an excellent opportunity for people of Visakhapatnam to be a part of an initiative for creating awareness on health related activities and also showcase their talents.
As many as 3,000 people registered so far and it is expected to cross 10,000 participants in the second edition. In the first edition during last year 7,500 people participated, Murali said.
