Bank loans to artisans assured
Local MLA SVSSVarma on Friday promised to arrange bank loans to artisans for upgrading their skills. Addressing the newly-elected office-bearers of the PithapuramProfessional Photographers’ Welfare Association, he stressed the need for the unorganised workers to come on a common platform. He pledged to provide all facilities to them on behalf of the State government.

Addressing the newly-elected office-bearers of the PithapuramProfessional Photographers’ Welfare Association, he stressed the need for the unorganised workers to come on a common platform. He pledged to provide all facilities to them on behalf of the State government.
Among those present were municipal chairman Karanam ChinnaRao, Vice-chairman PilliChinna, president of the association Rama Reddy, secretary Madhu and representatives of the various mandal level associations.
The new office-bearers of the association are: Suresh Babu (president), Balasubramanyam (secretary), Lovaraju (treasurer), Suribabu (vice-president), AppaRao @ Abhi (joint secretary), Vishnu, Veerababu, Anvesh, Bachi, Raju, Anil Kumar (members). District Member Satya Dattu administered a pledge to the office-bearers.
An assistance of Rs.1.6 lakh was handed over to the family members of photographer Nakka Srinu, who was killed recently in a road accident. Later,leaders of the association felicitated the MLA.
