Jagan’s birthday: Blood donation camp held
A mega blood-donation camp was held here on Thursday in connection with the 45th birthday celebrations of YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy. Elsewhere in the mandal, similar camps and people’s welfare programmes were conducted.

Party’s Srisailam Assembly constituency in-charge Budda Sesha Reddy has said that the poor became poorer in the TDP rule and maintained that justice to the poor would be done only in the YSRCP rule.
During the YSR rule, the State progressed while the poor are starving during the TDP rule. Farmers are finding agriculture as burdensome in the TDP rule, he said. Units of blood collected were sent to the emergency ward of the government hospital in Kurnool.
He alleged that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been implementing the YSRCP election manifesto gauzing the response to the padayatra undertaken by Jaganmohan Reddy. He predicted that people would teach a bitter lesson to the TDP in the next elections. A good number of youth and YSRCP leaders donated blood.
